Security Certificate Information

The Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate authenticates the identity of our client's Web site and encrypts all login and secure transmission information sent to us using SSL technology. Encryption is the process of scrambling data into an undecipherable format that can only be returned to a readable format with the proper decryption key.

Our certificate serves as an electronic "passport" that establishes our online entity credentials when doing business with Scholars Information Services on our Web Server. When an internet client attempts to send confidential information to our Web Server, the client's browser accesses our server's digital certificate and establishes a secure connection.
